At the Beijing International Auto Show on April 24, MG announced a partnership with Momenta to jointly build an advanced intelligent assisted driving experience. The all-new MG 07, MG's flagship new-energy sports sedan, will – through a subsequent OTA update – become one of the first mass-production models to feature the Momenta R7 World Model.
As a landmark model in MG's electrification and intelligence transformation of its sports-sedan lineage, the MG 07 is positioned to set the benchmark in the new-energy sports sedan segment. Built on SAIC's all-new next-generation premium new-energy platform and offered in both all-electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains, it delivers a design aesthetic on par with luxury sports sedans in the premium luxury sports sedan class and is scheduled to make its official debut in the first half of this year.
On the intelligence front, the Momenta R7 World Model featured in the MG 07 will formally open the Physical AI era, delivering advanced urban assisted driving capability and enabling seamless parking-spot-to-parking-spot driving. Rooted in British sports-sedan design heritage, Chinese AI driving intelligence, and SAIC's commitment to quality, the MG 07 offers a more stylish, more intelligent, and safer mobility solution – further consolidating MG's leading position in the new-energy market.
